Déclaration personnelle:
Melanie will work hard with you to develop understanding of your needs and goals. She will listen to you with compassion, empathy and curiosity. Melanie is direct and transparent, while being mindful of moving at a pace that works for you. She will not shy away from the things that are hardest for you, but will assist you in creating a safe space to deal with them. With you, Melanie will learn about and tackle habits and ingrained patterns non-judgementally, moving towards knowledge and skills that will improve your life.
The first step to recovery is in self-reflection and recognition of patterns that aren’t working. Melanie will help you understand, challenge and shift thoughts, emotions, belief systems and behaviours.
“I deeply respect your decision to engage in therapy. I will match your bravery in taking this step with a commitment to sticking by you through your healing process.” – Melanie Cheskes
