As a Social Worker for 35+ years, I specialize in working with adults with chronic conditions/disabilities. I have practiced in a number of settings including: hospitals; vocational rehabilitation; community rehabilitation; and private practice. My approach draws on different therapeutic modalities including: CBT (cognitive-behavioural therapy); Neuroscience; Mindfulness; Acceptance-Commitment Therapy; and Self-Compassion. I also have training in Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia and have worked with individuals with aphasia since 2017.
