Personal Statement:
I am a dedicated professional who has been very fortunate to have had a significant range of work and volunteer placements throughout my career wherein, I have received valuable holistic clinical experiences using strength-based, trans-disciplinary and anti-oppressive approaches working with vulnerable populations for empowerment and overall health and well-being. Throughout my career, I have had to learn how to critically assess and utilize crisis intervention and therapeutic counseling skills working with children, adolescents, individuals, groups, and families representative of exceptionalities, developmental disabilities, social, emotional, cognitive difficulties and/or mental illnesses, dual diagnosis and addiction challenges. I have gained valuable experiences with supervision, leadership, problem-solving and analytical thinking working with a number of agencies in a wide variety of clinical counseling and social service roles and settings.
I encourage all individuals to engage in my practice as I promote positive spaces for any culture, religion, heritage, creed or sexual oientation/gender identity.
