Personal Statement:
I am a therapist based in Toronto, licensed as a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). I received my training through the School of Social Work at York University, where I received my Bachelor of Social Work. I also hold a Master of Social Work from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. I continued my research in trauma and how it is experienced while completing my PhD through the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. During all these various stages of my training, my commitments have been directed toward thinking carefully about how to work with and provide care for the emotional lives of my clients.
