Personal Statement:
* I believe that the therapy process can be a very stimulating & rich journey. I try to engage my clients in a collaborative approach where we utilize both of our experience, knowledge & wisdom to explore opportunities & challenges that are important to the client.
* A Strengths Based Approach, integrating principles of Cognitive Restructuring and Problem Solving Theory is at the centre of the work that I engage in with clients.
* I encourage clients to "roll up their sleeves" & actively refer to complementary tools that enable them to maximize the benefits they obtain from the therapy experience. This might include meditation, stress management, journaling and/or reading relevant books & articles to supplement our work.
