Personal Statement:
I specialize in individual, couple, and family psychotherapy, clinical supervision and professional development. I approach my work from a dynamic systems perspective, which takes into account how cultures, life experiences, and different social and relational contexts impact individuals and their relationships. My work focuses on building strengths and positive approaches to change. I value self-determination and authenticity as key components to growth and healthy change. In addition to my university education, I have completed a 2 year American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) supervised training program in couple and family therapy. I currently support Master of Social Work interns and practicum instructors as a field education advisor at Wilfrid Laurier University.
