Specialized Training:
I tailor my approach to fit the specific needs of each client and their unique goals. I use proven therapeutic methods including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed practices (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I'm also mindful of how social inequalities affect mental health, so I approach therapy from an anti-oppressive perspective. For younger clients, I incorporate elements of play therapy to make sessions more engaging and effective.
Personal Statement:
Currently accepting new clients. With over 18 years experience, I specialize in helping adults, children (8+) and teens manage anxiety, stress, trauma and burn-out to live fuller lives and accomplish their goals. One of the things that makes me unique is my warm approach and seeking to truly understand who you are and what’s most important to you in your life. If you or your child/teen are looking for support with managing life challenges, please contact me to learn more about my services and how I can help.
