Specialized Training:
I generally work with adults who struggle with depression, anxiety/stress, other mood disorders, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, and intense emotions. I completed my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Toronto in 2011 and have since been working at a mental health hospital, Ontario Shores, primarily in various mood, anxiety, and general psychiatry clinics seeing clients from all walks of life with a large range of complex issues. I recently started seeing clients in private practice.
Personal Statement:
My approach to working with clients is empathetic, genuine, respectful, and nonjudgmental. I strive to meet clients where they are at and adjust my approach to fit their needs. I come into sessions with curiosity and openness and draw on evidence based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy to help clients work toward achieving their goals.
