Personal Statement:
I have been working in the mental health field for over 22 years. I started out counselling homeless teens at the local men's shelter. Since then, I've worked with adults with severe and persistent mental health struggles for most of my career. A highlight of my career was receiving the Christine Wilson Outstanding Housing Community Worker award. I thrive on giving compassion and support to those struggling with life's challenges. Although I continue to work in a clinical mental health setting, private counselling has become a life-giving and creative part of my vocation as well.
