Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege to come alongside youth & adults a fellow traveller and guide throughout their life journeys. I have extensive clinical experience in various mental health agencies & counselling services. I completed both my Master of Counselling Psychology (2005) and my Master of Social Work (2020). My approach is client-centred using evidence based and informed approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, & Narrative Therapy. Personal Statement:
Welcome to Ascend Counselling & Wellness. I count it a privilege and an honour to come along side you in a collaborative manner and share in this portion of your journey. My approach is client-centred where together we embark on the therapeutic journey through personal healing, growth, and developing skills to manage life's challenges. During these times with co-vid, sessions are only occurring through telephone and videoconferencing. During the session, it is important to be in a quiet, private space that is free of interruptions or distractions (such as a cell phone or other devices). The fee for one-hour sessions is $120 per session for individuals and $140 for couples/ families.
