Specialized Training:
I have experience with working with individuals impacted by general mental health issues, in particular, people who are impacted by PTSD. I have training in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Processing as well as Cognitive Processing Therapy.
Personal Statement:
A great deal of my work is focused on supporting people to feel more stabilized in their day to day lives. By accomplishing this I think people have a chance to make better choices that benefit their lives and overall health. I work with compassion, humour and evidence-based therapies to ensure that when people leave our session they are leaving with a sense of accomplishment and a goal in mind. I am happy to offer in person or online video counselling as part of my practice.
