Personal Statement:
I support adults in the areas of grief and bereavement, loss, caregiver burnout, trauma, living with a life limiting illness, and palliative care.
I support children experiencing childhood trauma, emotional wellbeing issues, self-regulation issues, anxiety, living with a parent who has a life limiting illness, or grieving from the death of a parent. I use a number of creative approaches including traditional talk therapy, play therapy and art therapy techniques appropriate to the child’s age and development.
Dedicated to helping clients gain insight on personal challenges and difficulties in order to lead their best life in a healthy and meaningful way, I work collaboratively to create a safe space for clients to be heard and to support them in drawing upon their own strengths and resilience in order to move forward. I work from a person-centered perspective companioning the client on a journey of exploration, validation, solution finding, and reconciliation.
