Throughout my career, I have continued training on an ongoing basis to upgrade and maintain my skills to apply the best practices for my clients. My area of expertise are individual, couple and family therapy. I have specific training and expertise in the area of attachment, parenting and preschool, school age children and adolescent. Lately my practice has focussed on parents and children post separation, single parenting issues, anxiety, depression and living life post abuse for parents and children. My most recent training has focussed on supporting individuals and families through grief and working with couples.
Personal Statement:
My passion has always been with children and families. Most of my career has been focused on families with young children. I have counselled families in the areas of parenting, separation and divorce, anxiety and depression, addictions and grief. My philosophy stems from respect and a belief that everyone is unique and comes with their own personal strengths, resources and needs. I believe that individuals are the expert on their own lives and have the insights and knowledge about their future. I can provide the guidance and support to help everyone to fulfill their personal, familial or professional goals.
