Personal Statement:
I graduated with a Masters degree in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work through Yeshiva University in 2012. Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of settings across Toronto and New York and continue to work as a Clinical Social Worker at Baycrest providing supportive counselling and resource counselling in outpatient programs.
I believe in creating a safe space where my clients are able to feel heard and validated and where they are free to express themselves and feel vulnerable. I love working in a collaboration with clients and use a mixed- bag approach in my counselling that includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Problem Solving and Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.
