Personal Statement:
I have provided counselling and consultation to individuals, couples, and families for over 20 years. My social work experience is extensive and my training is ongoing.
I work from a client-centred approach drawing on Cognitive-Behavioural, Solution-Focused, and Emotionally-Focused Therapies.
My philosophy is strength-based, founded on the belief that people have the strength and courage to make changes in their life with the right support, guidance, and encouragement.
Counselling can help you gain clarity on what you want to change, develop practical strategies to get there, and deal with difficult emotions that often accompany challenges.
I welcome you to contact me with any questions you may have.
