Personal Statement:
In my 20 years of private practice, I have had the honour of connecting with people to help them achieve their goals, create fulfilling lives, and appreciate their own unique value.
I have come to understand how we get trapped in unhealthy patterns of thought and behavior, leaving us with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship problems, and a feeling of general dissatisfaction & meaninglessness. Trying to undo these patterns on our own can be frustrating & overwhelming.
I use a variety of approaches geared to suit your particular needs and personality; from exploring past experiences, to bringing mindful attention to the present moment in order to bring about transformation. When appropriate, I may share information, insights, or my own experiences with you.
I bring to the therapeutic encounter an understanding that positive change is possible; I have profound respect for the courage and strength each of us has to initiate growth and transformation.
